MONTE is a Nebraska State licensed Body Piercer, piercing since 1994.
He owned and operated BODY MODS Inc. in Omaha for 13 years before
closing it down and coming to work for Dr Jacks. He was instrumental in
assisting in the legislative process during the development of current
Body Art laws. MONTE is also an instructor for PPIS (propiercing.com),
chosen from some of the best practitioners in the world, teaching
advanced body modification techniques where he is flown coast to coast
to train top piercers in the field. MONTE is a professional writer with
work that has been published in the field of body modification and on
psychological web sites as well. He was even asked to write a piece
that was published for the Omaha World Herald for the cities 150th
anniversary. Currently MONTE is working out of the Maple store and
attending Creighton College full time, majoring in Organized
Communication as well as Pre-medicine.
The metal that we initially pierce with at Dr Jack's is an
Implant Grade Stainless Steel (316LVM ASTM F-138). You will not find
jewelry this high in quality at the mall shops or in discount piercing
shops. If you think paying less elsewhere is a deal you are not taking
into consideration the essential factor of how much the quality of your
jewelry plays a role in the ability of you to heal your piercing out.
If your piercing doesn't heal just think how much you actually lost by
trying to save money, and still ended up with no piercing. Jewelry
quality is one area that you do not cut corners on. It's the one part
of the equation that leaves the shop with you.
